25 Things Badger Did When It Was Too Hot to Go Outside

  1. Climbed on top of the buffet.
  2. Had her first play-dough experience.  Mixed results, but very little got eaten and none was mashed into the rug so overall positive.
  3. Told the morning concierge about her hair, eyes, mouth and nose.
  4. Demanded 8 different YouTube videos by name, approximately 100 times.
  5. Pushed a chair over to the air conditioner and turned it off.
  6. Climbed on top of the kitchen table.
  7. Pulled all of her clothes out of her dresser.
  8. Climbed into her dresser.
  9. Climbed on top of her dresser.
  10. Watched a great deal of TV.
  11. Went into the master closet, pushed the doors closed.  Opened the doors, came out.  Repeat for ~10 minutes, slamming the doors harder each time.
  12. Took a two-hour nap (while Some Mommies Who Will Not Be Mentioned crashed out and caught up on Doctor Who).
  13. Ate an entire apple, core and all.
  14. Told the afternoon concierge about her shoes, toes and hat.
  15. Turned the living room into a toy disaster area.
  16. Helped me pick up! (“It’s fun to pick up your toys; it’s fun to pick up your toys.  It’s fun to pick up your toys — and this is how we do it!”  Who says TV is terrible?)
  17. Climbed into the pots and pans cupboard.  Refused to come out.
  18. Turned the living room into a toy disaster area again.  Helped me pick up again.
  19. Turned the living room into a toy disaster area again.  Did not help me pick up.
  20. Put on my flip-flops and walked several feet in them.
    Shoes
  21. Stood by the patio door and said “outside?” hopefully about 1,000 times.
  22. Ran around/jumped in the hallways, hollering “UP AND DOWN!”
  23. Spun around in circles in the hallways until she fell over (several times), hollering “AROUND!”
  24. Demanded four different bedtime books by name.
  25. Went to bed 1 hour early.
